Join Captain Doug Karakas and EfishNsea
Charters for a fun filled day of big water charter fishing from the
Lake Michigan port of Grand Haven. Some of Michigan's best big
water fishing takes place from this southwest Michigan port. From early
spring ice out to late summer, early fall - we'll target some of
the best sport fish Michigan has to offer. Captain Karakas
also offers select dates at Drummond Island in Michigan's Upper Peninsula
and year-round River and Stream guided fishing and drift fishing trips on
many of Michigan's best rivers and streams.
Here
are some things that the Captain recommends that you bring for your
comfort and enjoyment::
- Fishing
license for those 17 & Older
(Fishing
licenses are available onboard)
- Camera
and or Camcorder (remember film)
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Your
Favorite Beverages
- Soft
soled shoes
- Warm
Clothing - Rain gear
- A
cooler to take your catch home (a must!)
Note: Dramamine is advisable if you think
you will become seasick.

For your maximum
enjoyment on your charter fishing trip, it's best to come prepared for
any weather. You can't always count on the weather forcasts to be
accurate. It's a good idea to always bring rain gear and warm
clothing; as it can be cool on the big water in the mornings even
during
heat waves. You'll want to have a good sunscreen product to protect
yourself from severe sunburns that can occur when on the water.
It's also important to protect your eyes as well with a good quality
pair of sunglasses.
If Captain Doug
determines that weather conditions are unsafe he will make the decision
to cancel the charter until such time as conditions improve. If your
trip must be cancelled due to weather, the Captain will work to
reschedule your trip on a future date.
Deposits will be refunded due to inclement
weather.
Captain will make all decisions regarding
weather conditions.
